If only I wasn't so emotional
I wouldn't have built this wall
If I was courageous
I would stand tall
Hate is burning like acid through my veins
Inflicting excruciating pain
I don't understand why or how
But I do know now
That my life is a play
A game of pretend
And it will extend
Until my body is one with the earth and my soul is in heaven.

darling...
life is only a play when you care about what the audience thinks...
but it shouldn't be like that,,
live your life to its fullest and do as you please -except if it's 7aram of course- because there will be a day when you'll regret wasting your teens/youth on caring what others think of you.. cuz when you're 50 you won't give a damn =)

"That my life is a play

This reminded me with my fav of ur posts, "US" the real description of this play scenario
May this play end b happy one
Life is indeed a play. But it is your play, and though you might choose the characters with you, you can however vouch for yourself, and create your own lines.
You can make as my soliloquies as you wish, and laugh when you please.
But you must weigh your words, and time your laughs, for there are tears as well.
Life is a play...but in the end you chose if it becomes a comedy or tradegy.
